Dollars and Sense
On top of being the lead female anchor at ABC10, Lora is the face of Dollars and Sense, a weekly special report helping viewers understand complicated money issues and navigate a changing economy. She enterprises, reports and produces each original story that not only helps viewers make the most of their money, but also investigates consumer issues and helps solve viewers concerns. Lora consults a wide range of local experts from fields including finance, real estate, education, consumer affairs, automotive, tax and law. Through these investigations, Lora has also helped viewers recover money, including a retiree waive a $30,000 Social Security overpayment.










First & 42
Lora also wrote articles for Kalamazoo’s 269 Magazine and First & 42 which centered on careers and business. It was a partnership between Southwest Michigan First and Newschannel 3, in which she also wrote and produced a television news story to accompany each magazine article.



Career Source
Lora also wrote and produced s a monthly aired segment called Career Source, sponsored by Kalamazoo Valley Community College, highlighting education, career development programs and opportunities in Southwest Michigan. She spoke with students and instructors about various career paths including automotive, healthcare, brewing and culinary arts.
